What Map Version Will I Get?

All Maps are available NEXT 2025, PREMIUM 2023/2025, EVO 2024-2, ROUTE 2024, WAY 2024 & LIVE 2024-3.

  • If your current Navigation Style is Premium you will get the latest Navigation Map which is Premium 2023/2025.
  • If your current Navigation System is NEXT you will get the latest Navigation Map which is NEXT 2024/2025.
  • If your current Navigation System is EVO you will get the latest Navigation Map which is EVO 2024-2.
  • If your current Navigation Style is Route you will get the latest Navigation Map which is Route 2024.
  • If your current Navigation Style is WAY you will get the latest Navigation Map which is WAY 2024.
  • If your current Navigation Style is LIVE you will get the latest Navigation Map which is LIVE 2024-3.
  • You do not need to provide your Current Map Version as the last 7 digits of your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) are more than enough for us to determine which system you currently have.

Please note that this is the cable coding version , and you’ll need an ENET coding cable and a Windows laptop with at least Windows 10. This is because newer firmware versions in BMW’s head units can’t be coded via USB, making cable coding the preferred choice for compatibility.

Here’s how to get started: Sit in your BMW and navigate to Navigation Maps. Press the Options button and access Settings. Select Position & Version History > Version Information.

Now, here’s the key: If your software version starts with P, Q, R, S, U, V, W, X , or Y,  after the wording NBTEvo_ cable coding is the method to use. For versions starting with the letter N or  O , both USB and cable coding are applicable.

Change Split Screen Carplay to Full Screen to replace the default split-screen setup with a spacious and user-friendly interface. Say goodbye to the limited view. With this upgrade, your CarPlay apps, including Apple Maps, Google Maps, Spotify, and more, will have the space they need to shine.

WHERE IS THE USB INTERFACE PORT IN MY VEHICLE?

The USB interface port required for the map update can be found in the glove compartment. Should there be no USB interface port in the glove compartment, please use the USB interface port in the center console or in the storage compartment in the center armrest

WILL ANY OF THE DATA THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN TRANSFERRED BE LOST IF I STOP DURING THE JOURNEY?

No. When you continue your journey after a stop, updating
automatically resumes (assuming the USB stick is still connected).

THE UPDATE FOR THE NAVIGATION MAP DOES NOT WORK?

Check for the following possible errors:
• If the vehicle identification number ( VIN) on the BMW Navigation Cer tificate (FSC) match the VIN of your vehicle? (This can be found in your registration document)
• Did you avoid entering zeros and ones when typing in the activation code? (Danger of confusion with “I” and “O”.)

HOW TO UPDATE YOUR DIGITAL ROAD MAP IN JUST A FEW SIMPLE STEPS.

  1. If map style is premium then USB format must be fat32, if map styles are NEXT, WAY, ROUTE, EVO then USB format must be exfat.
  2. Download map and extract Copy all file in folder NAVDxxx_xxx to usb. ( File in Folder NAVDxxx_xxx )
  3. Plug USB in car start update from screen.
  4. Enter FSC codeupdate Success
